HI,

I'm 6ft and currently weigh 11st 13lb.

I've slimmed down from 13st 9lb over the last 3 months and have spent the last 3 weeks bulking eat 6 high protein/low fat meals a day. My muscles are certainly improving and my waste has shrunk although my weight has stopped at the same weight.

I go on Holiday on the 20th July. I want to get nice and ripped before this so I look my best. I can see my abs in the mirror but there not hugely defined. I'd maybe like to lose around another 7lb without compromise to my muscle gains.

I was thinking of bulking until 6 weeks before I go away and have 6 weeks on a strict cut....is this enough time to lose what I want or should I start cutting a little earlier. Another thing to note my body seems to stick at 12st when I'm training and so I think I might struggle to lose anymore weight

Why not just go for a lean bulk and then you'll always have decent holiday condition?

thanks for the reply James. I'm currently on a fairly lean bulking with putting on muscle and losing a small amount of body fat but I'd still like to strip a bit more fat off before my holiday. Maybe another 7lb of body fat just to improve my mid section and add a bit more definition.

i'm planning on a 6 week cut eating my current diet but incorporating more cardio work.

Yeh I'd do a cut now then, til you get to the leaness you're happy with, then lean bulk

Here is the diet I use for cutting, use your abs to tell how your doing:
LEAN-OUT DIET

PREWORKOUT

MEAL ONE – 4:30 AM
Protein Drink

WORKOUT: 5:00 AM


POSTWORKOUT AND BREAKFAST

MEAL TWO – 7 AM, 8 AM
Right after workout
Protein Drink
About an hour later
6 egg whites
3 oz turkey sausage



LUNCH
MEAL THREE – 11:45 AM
6 oz chicken breast
½ cup brown rice
Steamed vegetables

MIDAFTERNOON SNACK

MEAL FOUR – 3:30 PM
Tuna or Protein bar or drink

DINNER
MEAL FIVE – 5:00 PM
6 oz lean broiled sirloin steak
Steamed vegetables

LATE-EVENING SNACK
MEAL SIX – 9:00 PM
2 tbsp. peanut butter or
Protein Drink
