Got on the crosstrainer and I was maintaining a steady speed of 15kph for the first six or seven minutes, on an incline. I just felt so focused and energetic. I had a bigger breakfast than normal, as well as a coffee, so I'm thinking the extra carbs combined with the caffeine give me a good boost. I looked very slim this morning, as I posed infront of the mirror being all vain, and I'm very excited at getting my bodyfat checked tomorrow. Strength was up a fair bit today. I did another personal best on the leg curl machine. I actually lifted the full stack +5kgs and when I lifted the first rep somebody on the crosstrainer near me said "facking hell", which was an ego boost. I'm definately making progress with my legs, I think the upper part is bigger and is definately more defined, and my calves are a work in progress. I'll be taking some pictures of my legs this weekend, just for mick_the_brick [:D] I'm rarely having whey at the moment and I don't feel like my recovery is being affected in any ..whey.. whatsoever. I like to think I know a fair bit about training, diet, supplements etc, but I also don't have a problem with learning new things and re-adjusting the way I do things. To that effect I've completely altered my perception of nutrition concerning whey protein and supplements of that nature. At one time I wouldn't go a day without a few shakes, now I can go a few days without having one. That's the thing I love about bodybuilding, I'm constantly learning new things and trying new things and I love it. |
