I was planning on smashing them with a 50rep dropset, starting at 45kg and dropping in 5kg increments to 25kg, but the gym was packed and as usual the pretty boys had left the dumbells all over the bloody show. If they spent as much time re-racking the dumbells as they do making sure their hair is perfect in the ****ing mirror the gym would be a tidyer place. Seriously, why have your hair gelled going to the gym? I'm all for self grooming, hey I shave my balls and chest and ass with clippers, but those guys are just nancy boys. I sometimes wish there were a crowd of big beefy bodybuilders who would just rip into them so they don't come back. Evil I know, apologies. Anyway, I kind of broke a PB, but didn't I suppose. I got the 105kg off and did 2 half reps, I just couldn't get it fully down to my chest. Cardio went well today, I ended up doing a full hour. I've definately lost fat, definately. I'll take some pics later. I've got a bloody ingrowing hair under my armpit which has caused a lump and it hurts [:(]. Diet has been "ok" today. The pizza was a "healthy" pizza although I'm under no illusions as to its nutritional value. I did my shop for the week, buying tuna and I found a cheap source of mackeral, I just hope it tastes ok. 69p for a 450gram tin! I also bought 800g of chicken drumsticks for £1.75 which I thought was a good price. I took 4 caps of Recreate today, 2 morning before breakfast and 2 after my weights workout as I began my 45mins walking. I felt a pretty big difference doing this to how I've been dosing it previously, so I'm going to change my dosing routine to 2 caps non-workout days and 4caps on workout days. I noticed a very strong thermogenic effect after about 5 minutes on the treadmill, and I sweat a lot more than normal. I have been noticing this thermogenic effect on the bus on the way to the gym, however I couldn't accurately contribute it to the Recreate because buses are generally hot and sweaty places. So the fact I was in an air conditioned area, with a sleeveless top on, I think is a good way of detecting the thermogenic effect. Chest tomorrow. I'm gonna see how I do benching 100kg, and I may attempt to go for another PB, 115kg. I'm also going to finish my flat bench with a 5X5, on 80kg-90kg (depending on how I feel), instead of my usual drop set. I'm now going to alternate my drop sets with 5X5's on my big compound movements. I also really need to start bumping my weight up on the incline db press. I always start with 30kg but can never be bothered moving up in weight. I'm also going to have a bash at dumbell pullovers where you lie down and bring it over your head, which is apparently good for chest. |
