oki im gonna start trining these once a week probably throw em in on leg do ill do just shrugs, what sort of weight and rep range is good, they are a small muscle i dont want to strain them too bad

i also read somewhere about the effect of these on posture, any thoughts?

With shrugs, as it's a small range of motion you can go quite heavy. Last time I did them I did just under 130kg for three sets of ten reps

But first time out I'd be cautious and just test the water. Start with a light weight for ten reps, then add a bit more until it starts feeling more challenging

You might find at first that grip is a limiting factor but in time it should improve

oki yh i was thinking just go light, i usually do woth all new exercises i try because form is everything imo, thank you

i use lifting straps can wack much more weight on, make sure form is right tho, straight arms, dont bend when lifting, or raising your body with your tiptoes, seen people so

yep can lift as much as your joints let you lol. not limited by grip
