Just watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTAYAl4g7HE&feature=related he starts talking about it at around at around 1.40. Is this technique a good method for building mass? I've realised i've been doing it elbows out and not in all this time

That's for powerful bench pressing, shifting max weight. IMO the best way, why turn a power based compound into an isolation. It's a power based compound, treat it as such, shift maximum weight and make your whole upper body grow. Isolate pecs later with flies, machines etc. if you wish.

I found it funny at the beginning while he was trying to talk at the same time as driving.

Tried this technique tonight and I could defiantly lift more weight. Think i'll stick to this technique from now on.

nothing new - thats the way to lift the most weight, if your primary goal is power

as he said the other way is to isolate the chest more, if your goal is to increase mass

the milos sarcev video is very good too, basically tells you not to lift the way this milan guy says to lift but the other way which is how i lift

Yes they are two very contradictive videos, to a novice body builder. milos tell u to handel a weight u can completely control and take your time with your reps squeezing and stretching your pecs.

This video on the other hand is to basicly load the bar and get the weight up therefore is more to power lifting. (could be good for ego trip i guess :))

but then again in turn if u train for size u will get stronger, u train for strength u will get bigger.

Strength is also a goal for me but addmitingly i am mainly going for size. But if i use this powerlift technique then won;t i develop more overall upper body size/strength? As long as i make sure to include dumbbell or cable flys in my chest work i shouldn't lose any size should i? Or fall back in development in size?
