Hey all, I've got a question for the smarties here

Last Monday I was doing heavy squats. The pins in the rack are at such a height that once the bar starts to bend, I have to "swim" it out of the racks (if you don't know what I mean by this, just ask; I might have a video). I worked up to a pr, but had to swim the last few sets in/out.

On Thursday I was doing speed squats (225+bands). Every set, my mid-back felt a sharp pain as soon as I would unrack the bar (not swimming it out). If I looked down and raised my elbows (from almost pointing at the floor closer to parelel with the floor), the pain disappeared.

After the squats I hit some rack pulls, and there was no pain.

What does this sound like to you guys? And what's the best way to fix it. Preferably a very quick fix, because I've got a meet coming up soon.

I think the swimming is putiing one side up onto the rack and then the other.
Am I right??
