Hi Guys,

Ive read lots of motivational books on training.
The problem is that none relate to were i am now, due to one thing or another i am no longer able to leave my home.

What techniques can i use to stay motivated in my situation?

Thanks for any input,

why cant you leave your home?

Are you ill?

Are you disabled?

Are you able to train at home with some weights?

One technique i like to reccomend is that you focus your thoughts on the good things about your life.

Ie, i can't go out but i now have more toime to read books and i can write some letters to friends/relatives i haven't been in touch with for ages.

I can't go out but there's a bloody big mirror in my bedroom so i can pose to myself and blow myself kisses. (this may not work but i like it, lol)

I have a good excuse to watch repeats of red dwarf and blackadder.

But, a little more info would help. What are you needing motivation for? I mean to do what? training? studying?

I usually can't stand self help tripe, but to anyone feeling a little low, I would recommend reading Eckhart Tolle's 'The Power of Now'.

Read it.

according to his website the reason is this

quote:

Due to changes made to civil legislation based on terrorism, I am certain that the British Secret Intelligence Services have targeted me using both technological and human resources to gather intelligence illegally, furthermore using that intelligence to endanger or kill me in order to achieve a political and or economic objective.

my serious opinion is you need to speak to a psychiatrist

staying inside on your own will only serve to further deepen your obvious paranoia

or you could wrap foil around your head

Can you get put on a list for a guide dog mate?

Not only would that allow you to get out more, guide dogs are great companions and can lift your spirits, or so I am told

I love guide dogs personally. Best things ever

You're actually trying to cause potentially fatal accidents, because you don't like horses?

That is rather odd
