im just wondering how much protein you's eat per day when bulking and what you weight???
and what forms of protein is your source?

im 96kg and mines about 250gm on a good day, do u think this is too low?

sources are:
red + white meat
quark (just added to diet)
milk
whey powder
nuts

I was 65kg last time i checked.

On a normal day:

200g+ from real food - Mainly chicken, sometimes lean beef, sometimes fish.

120-150g from whey.

I eat apprx 200g a day, half real, half supp

i'm 100kg as of this morning. i eat around 250-300g protein per day.

sources:

whey
chicken
nuts
mackerel
white fish
protein bars
egg whites
cottage cheese
sometimes tuna if i'm in the mood, very rarely!

i dont have a set diet, i just know when its tome to eat and roughly the portion sizes to hit my requirements.

I think when bulking mate, carbs are more important than protien. I'm sure I read work around 2-3g of protein per lb of body weight and make the rest up with carbs. Might be able to get more protein in if assisted

i think the majority of my diet at the min is carbs, im planning on upping my prot intake to 300gm per day give or take.

78 kg, usualy day will consist of 250-300g meat giving, 75 g protein, 2-3 shakes (with egg or milk protein powder) plus what ever protein i get from other foods

Edit i forgot i drink 2 litres + of milk a day so thats a decent amount of protein aswell

I would agree if it was making me fat. Whey is cheap so not a problem there. 200g is just over 600g of chicken breast a day which isn't a huge amount when it's spread out.

yeah, i'm gaining solid mass while holding my bodyfat at a reasonable level. i'm currently on a cycle too though.

My calculations make it more like 700g.

Still too much. Jack - as your weight increases, are you still going to increase calories accordingly?
