asda's sells smart price tuna 27p, has 31gm protein in it

TVP - £1 for 500g. It's 50% protein.

asda also sell 3 mackeral fillets for £1, 18g protein but a lot nicer, choice of tamato, brine and sunflower oil recently worried about mercury though

were can you buy tvp? can you mix it in something like stir fry??

im thinking maybe holland and barrets migth sell something like that?? i want to no aswell were i can get it? also is it a werth while source of protein to take??

you can get it in tesco. its in the whole food section and its called textured vegetable protein comes in a clear bag and looks abit like bread crumbs or couscous dont be fooled into buying anything frozen like i did lol.

IIRC pilchards are cheaper than tuna and you get a lot more nutrition for your money too

Stone just worked at that chicken from iceland is 0.0035p / gram !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Less than 40p a gram. £3.50 for 1KG!
