Are you lot all there?

He has obviously been asked to guest pose - the promotors will know he's out of condition. He hasn't even dieted for the shots. But he's still massive.

You guys do realise that pro bodybuilders don't look like they do on Olympia night all year round, don't you?!

Condition isn't the issue here though for most James - the blocky midsection is.

So most pro's look pregnant when they arent prepping for a show?

I couldn't bare the sight of myself if I looked like that in all honesty, props to them for having the brass to deal with it.

Indeed James but im sorry the GH gut was there at the olympia and his off seasonm it just looks worse in the off season

He has tons of mass but to me he looks like crap with that enormous gut it doesnt make him pleasing to the eye. Its a sport about aesthetics right, well that aint aesthetically pleasing to me

That's an off-season, out of condition Ronnie. If, as James says, he's preparing for a comeback in 2009, so you think he's able to get back to anyway near his size and condition as a Mr O winner?

Or is whatever's causing that massive gut too much of an obstacle to mount a serious threat to the title?

But is it a 'GH gut' (a phrase, which has been coined only in recent years) - is it not very large abdo muscles, which when he flaxes them goes flat?

Anyway the gut goes considerably which he's dieted (let's not include 2007 - he was in poor shape).

Anyway, guys this is beside the point - my response was in response to other's comments about how crap he looked, which was alot more than his large gut.

Thing is though ive seen it on BB'ers who arent anywhere close to Ronnie's weight or size. Never got their names just remember their pictures

There have been mass monsters in the past that consumed huge quantities of food as well yet didn't see it in them

edit: to add earlier on his in his career when he wasnt quite 300lbs (but just as large IMO) it wasnt there

imo opinion youll never see a bodybuilder, on or off season, when standing relaxed that doesnt have a gut, try it just now.

the problem with ronnie is he doesnt try to keep it tight all the time.

plus mentioned before, he has thick abdominal muscle

also genetics play a part,

imo your shape will also contribute to the effect, people with long midsections tend to have lees of a problem.

how much insulin do they take and how many carbs do they need to take to stop them going into a insulin induced coma?

their guts are not from over eating

insulin, IGF, GH...its the big factors

You say that yet you dont no the basics of insulin.

Think about it the big factors are the fact that the guys today are far bigger than that of the golden era.

* sorry bud answer to the question is, genral rule is 10g carbs per IU. But there are differant tollerance levels so some can lower the amount over time.

Its interesting that all of those "gut" shots are taken from specific points of Videos when he is just moving about and in odd angles to the camera.....you could do the exact same thing to any competing Pr BB'er at any point of the season

Out of interest, could wrapping oneself in black plastic bin liners so that it's tight against your skin like a rubber/pvc dress, be classed as crossdressing?

then educate me oh wise one

bodybuilders who are 300lb in 'shape' on stage eat a shed load of calories but they cant trim the midsection down come contest day, i think people are conning others by saying that its just because of over eating when its obvious to see the big heads, hands, jaws...

insulin abuse is causing these pot bellies, insulin is the most anabolic substance you can take which is further ramped up by thr GH abuse but they also inject further does of insulin.
quote:

"High levels of GH mess with the bodies way of responding to insulin leading to higher levels of insulin and sugar causing fat cells to grow making it difficult to break down fat and get sugar for the muscle cell"

i am backing up what i am saying with a credible source
