I dont buy into the whole GH/insulin gut. Lots of people use both very efficiantly at lower wieght on high dose and look fine gut wise.

answerd your question btw.

Some play the game well like dexter jackson but its obvious to see that there are some side effects with bodybuilders abs.
Play the dosage game right and you'll look great, go too far with the insulin and GH and you'll end up like greg kovacs

*edit, it looked like i was saying there was a prob with dexters abs when he has one of the greatest midsections

Credible source or not, it's an interesting read.

The symptoms of acromegaly seem to be unmistakeable.

The whole things debatable, no pro genrally admits to how much they use so its hard to put a baring on how much is a high dose. Iv heard of some people using very high doses (that i believe is high) yet there midsections look fine.

There is more to Greg Kovacs midsection than just GH/ins im sure.

but there is no denying that since the introduction of GH and insulin in the bodybuilding world in the quest of mass (starting at the near end of the haney era to the early yates reign), the guts emerged.

But so did the overall body size.. so you could just say they upped the amount of overall drugs they are/were taking.

The pictures posted of ronnie are very unflattering angles, he did a lot to trim his waistline in 2006 mainly using a belt and vacuums.
cant be arsed to look for it but theres an interview with him on youtube all about it.

Its interesting that all of those "gut" shots are taken from specific points of Videos when he is just moving about and in odd angles to the camera.....

Pretty much any time he's not hitting a pose tbh

Okay,we have people saying Ronnie's gut is down to large amounts of food, and people saying it's GH etc..

The old school, pre GH BB's like Arnie,Tom,Lou,Serge etc.,did not have these guts but still consumed enough calories to be massive.Hugh drug intake is turning BBing into a freak show.

Give me the old time BB's anyday.Much more asthetic.

I was not making fun of Ronnie's off season condition, just that awful bloated stomach.
