Progress pics (19 months natty)
-
15 April 2008 22:26
I took some new progress pics today, its been ~19 months since i started training with weights. I had some really kind compliments in my journal today - so thanks to all you guys! Just thought i would put them here as well as i always enjoy seeing other progress pics but probably miss a lot if i dont frequent their journal. Most of my training history has been using 2 upper/ 2 lower days per week. Initially i did 3x weekly full body's for a few months and more recently tried a split for the 1st time. Was not so keen on the split tbh. Im back using 2 upper/2 lower again. In the 1st pic i was just under 10 stone, which was ~1.5 stone heavier than the lightest i ever was. Im now just under 14 stone. Thanks Tom

You're doing something right, mate. Some excellent size gained and all while maintaining great condition. Have been able to sustain that condition thru-out or have you had to cut to get back down to that BF level?

Great progress mate. Care to share your routine? Did you bulk in great excess or just get slightly plump?

Thanks a lot! Hi Kitty, I had not really thought about it tbh. Im not sure i would have the guts to stand on stage, pretty daunghting stuff. I would need to put on a fair bit more size too i imagine. Never say never though. Tom ORIGINAL: dirtyvest You're doing something right, mate. Some excellent size gained and all while maintaining great condition. Have been able to sustain that condition thru-out or have you had to cut to get back down to that BF level? Lol, no initially i went from the just under 10 stone pics to 14 stone in just 11 month. I panicked due to the fat i had gained and went back to my old exercise bullemia ways and did silly amounts of cardio and reduced my food drastically. During those 10 weeks i lost 3 stone but had to stop as i was unable to see if i stood up quickly and kept seeing stars - not good. All the pics along the way are on the 1st page of my journal. long winded answer there - but no ive not kept the condition throughout. Since that cut i talked about above ive taken things MUCH MUCH slower, im more chilled out regarding food etc... I really think things have come on better since i chilled the **** out, im sure ive seen james has said the same thing. Thanks Tom

Good progress. You could afford to bang in a few more cals judging by your leaness too. Nice work.

Good progress there, especially as you have gained 4 stone and it all appears to be muscle.

Thanks again everybody! ORIGINAL: 222orange Great progress mate. Care to share your routine? Did you bulk in great excess or just get slightly plump? Previously i bulked in excess gaining 1kg most weeks, now im much more chilled out - i dont weigh myself weekly either. My routine atm is like this: (the reason for the lack of quad work and the amont of hammie/posteriour chain stuff is that i have back problems due to an antriour tipped pelvis caused by tight and strong hip flexors and weak lower abs/glutes./hammies.) upper 1 1 ARM ROWS 1 ARM DB OHP 1 ARM PULL DOWNS INCLINE DB BENCH CABLE CURLS lower 1 GLUTE HAM RAISE LEG CURLS REVERSE HYPER EXTENSIONS FRONT SQUATS ROLL OUTS upper 2 DIPS CHINS DECLINE CGBP ROWS BAND EXTENSIONS lower2 LEG CURL PULL THROUGHS + other glute activation stuff RDL 1 LEG LEG PRESS LEG RAISES Tom

Its kinda small to see but i used to have veins all over my lower abs etc... If i went down to the same bf im not sure i weight that much more really.
