just bought six star whey protein it says 50g of protein per serving!

50 seems a little to much, is it really 50?

another question half of that plus 4 eggwhites and bowl of cereal does enough for me for breakfast. should I half the scoop so it becomes 25g?

What size scoop (there should be a number followed by cc on the bottom) are you using?

*scroll to bottom product in the 2nd link above.

25 / 3.5 / 2 per serving. each serving is 33g of the product and the tub contains 27 servings.

presume the 50 came in as it says 1 serving of protein is 50% daily value.

...however £16 for a 907g tub is good value for money- if you consider you get 27 servings from it.

I'm tempted as it's also a blend of isolate and concentrate. Not sure as others similaly have 30g of protein for similar price

Six Star supplements are the same company as Muscletech, I guess you bought it in Walmart because they sell a lot of Six Star supplements there?

Serving size is just a guideline by the supplement company and they probably put the serving size quite high just to make the product more impressive. Just adjust the serving size to your own particular needs

The most over the top claim was when a weight gainer had 52,000mg of Amino Acids per serving which equates to 52g of protein The 52,000mg just sounded a lot more impressive.

yea i'm not competing and right now i've got bills to worry about, i just need a decent supplement

so label says 50g of protein so 2 scoops equal 50g?

A 90cc scoop is big so it probably does provide 50g of protein. The scoop that comes with my all-in-one whey is 60cc. Use half to two-thirds of a 90cc scoop.

If I remember correct (the label on the back will tell you for sure) it takes 2 scopes to achieve 50 Grams.

This is good protein & a rep company.
