how much protein is in the said products?

Think of training as a recipe. An omelet tastes better if there's heavy cream in it. But if you put eight ounces of heavy cream in the omelet, then it's not an omelet anymore — it's something else.

I buy the Yeo Valley Organic Fat free yogurts from Tesco. They do quite a few different flavours but I buy the natural, strawberry, and vanilla fat free ones. Taste lovely and really good to add to smoothies, or as a snack with some fruit, nuts etc, and you can add whey if extra protein needed.

I think they are about 6g protein per 100g and come in 500g pots.

Tescos own plain natural yoghert, big tub, cheap, and you can flavor it with whatever you like, fruit, options powder, milkshake powder, coco powder, whatever. It actually tastes nice on its own so just get it down your neck!

AS TIO said....

500g Tub Fat Free Fromage Frais

then add either a little strawberry desert sauce or an a chocolate options sachet.

chuck in some ground almonds also.

Lovely and at 37g protein, 15g carbs and some healthy fat thats a decent meal. I have at least one per day.

as it happened, advice worked. right next to the Yeo Valley Organic Fat free yogurts, were a packet of 6 Irish (can't remember the rest of the name) diet yogurts, 5 grams protein per pot.

We come back to the same point Girish, you need to learn to eat, One pot of yog aint going to do anything for you, If you want it flavored put some effort in and flavor it your self. I could easily eat a full pot of yeo vally yog (500ml) in one sitting, a small 35g of yog is nowt mate.

since i've started gymming there is no doubt i eat more than i do, so now i have an idea of how much i eat before i am full. fact is i cannot eat as much as a lot of people on here in one sitting. at my weight, eating 2 x my bodyweight in protein will do me fine daily and it's plenty in terms of the figure branded about to gain...sure i might not gain as much than if i had 3 x but 2 x is fine for me.

2bh agree with others, not fussed on consuming x amount of protein per meal in terms of measuring it but do want to average protein with every meal throughout the day so i hit a minimum of 120g daily- on the basis that if i want to be 60kg at most- though i'm not so hung up on weight now, i need to eat to gain the 5kg i need. with the extra protein, muscles will grow also.

if im not gaining with that, then ill up it but not going to know that till a month- when i will report when i post my journal up.

after a good meal, 100g yogurt is plenty enough. im confident i will gain as when i did increase what i ate i was gaining, but didn't do this consistently enough so i've dropped slightly.
