nothing, the screen stays completely black and the computer freezes... once i pull the wacom out of the usb drive the pc then boots up...
its like its waiting for e to unplug the wacom from the usb port...

when it freezes from the hdd i have to unplug the hdd then the pc springs back into action and carries on doing whatever it was doing.

ive downloaded all the latest drivers and still no solution... i thought sp1 might have fixed it.

Wacom being a graphic tablet like i think it is? If you havent downloaded the updated driver directly from the wacom website do that.

On the boot up front try the boot order in bios and put c drive first with the wacom driver software later if you havent tried that already. If your bios has a usb setting on it switch that of to.

Thats exactly my point mate! Those kind of people who see a thread asking for peoples opinions on something, then some smart arse jumps in and says everyones talking 'rubbish'

Cheers for that reply mate, cleared things up.

On the hard drive front it may be aa incompatibility with your board rather than vista but you can try changing the setting of the software so it emulates xp. May be a solution there. Ill think on it some more and give you a definitive answer.

P.S trident because a few people had and are having problems with vista doesnt mean the whole thing is obsolete. Im sure there are lots of people wo have problems with vista too. Nothing is perfect at the end of the day.

muscleman2008, im glad its working for you, but your talkin some crap mate lol, everyone knows under this sun that has 1 iota knows Vista is fooked, its runs better on a Mac platform than it does PC lol, and you wont see anyone with a custom build touching it.

They are already in work for an overall update, and when i say update, I mean a relaunch on a new OS lol.

vista reminds me of windows me in so many ways.
reminds me of 95 as well... just a stepping stone to the next os. (which i believe they have already started work on?)
