I have a Commercial Lifefitness Lamond Revmaster II - its awesome and I am sure it will last forever. I cant comment on the one you posted, but if I were you I would get a reconditioned ex gym Schwinn or Lamond.

If you have TT's email address, he knew a hell of a lot about spin-bikes, might be worth dropping him a polite email? There was also an article on here once about them, dunno where it is or where to look for it though, might have been removed.

Yes good stat bike, as said you can change resistance. I can make the resistance so hard on my Lamond that you cannot turn the pedals - however it uses a different resistance mechanism to your Pulse. By the looks of it your resistance mechanism is a cantilever which pushes the sides of the disk, so dont expect too much of a resistance - my lamond is a screw down bar that pushes the top of the disk.

I have bought a few from him, his name is Lee. The place looks like an old farm warehouse. Top bloke though and has sorted me out a few times.
