I tend to struggle with the 'bodybuilding' diet; that is, I find it hard to have the appetite for enough calories consisting of solid, healthy food. How detrimental, if at all, would it be to my progress, were I to replace a meal or two a day with a shake (one of those that contains roughly as many calories as a typical 'bodybuilding' meal)?

Cheers, how often do you have that? I am aiming to bulk. I just find it hard to stick to the diet, and think replacing a meal or two a day with a 'meal replacement' shake would help me immensely, in terms of calorie intake.

imo i would post up your current diet, stats and goals... then it will be easier to see how to factor meal replacement shakes in to your diet
