I'd like to know what everyone else is doing per body part, see how it compares ?

I'm about this:

Back 11 sets
Biceps 6 sets
Chest 9 sets
Triceps 6 sets
Legs 8 sets
Shoulders 8 sets
Abs 4 sets

Hi Mate there you go, probably do too much as i do 2 warm up sets as well.

Sorry to hijack this thread mate but have you ever run test e only cycles?

Hi bud, yes I ran 2 a few years ago, nice gains @ 500mg EW, we better continue that discussion in the TAOS section tho

Thighs: 7 sets
Calves: 1 big drop sets
Chest: 2, sometimes 3 sets
Back: 6 sets
Biceps: 1 set
Triceps: 1 sets
Abs: 1 or 2 sets

Chest: 8 sets
Shoulders: 12 sets
Arms: 12 sets
Legs: 16 sets
Abs: 4 sets

I do 4 sets for every exercise.

i'm confused

is this set's per workout or over a week.

IE 12 set's ov 8 reps.

is so it would take hour's to do what some of you lot have posted up

Are you guys including the compound exercises as a set.

For examples

Biceps you say u do 6 sets, how bout when u do bent over rows, is that set included in the 6?

I read it as sets per bodypart, which is usually over a week as most people's routines repeat on a weekly basis, yes.

Per session, I do 16 to 24 sets, depending on the body part.

Back 10-12 sets
Biceps 0 sets
Chest 12-14 sets
Triceps 0 sets
Legs 6-10 sets
Shoulders 8-10 sets
Abs 0 sets
Deadlifts 8

Total sets, starting light, working heavier each set.

Chest - 8-10
Shoulders - 5-10 (I super set upright rows with CGBP at the end)
Triceps - 4-5

Day 2:
Back - 15
Biceps - 4-5

Day 3:
Off

Day 4:
Quads - 8
Hams - 5
Calfs - 3-4

Day 5: (Power & isolation work)
Shoulders - 10-12
Biceps - 8
Triceps - 8
Grip work - 4

Day 6:
Condtioning/Boxing

Day 7:
Off

Guys you all seem to do alot of sets, i thought doing to many sets would be over training, which must mean i am probably under training, heres my weekly routine, tell me what you think.

Chest and Triceps
Flat Bench 4 sets
Incline 3 sets
Flyes or Pec Dec 3 sets
Total on chest = 10 sets
This is where i get confused coz the above are compounds and work triceps as well??

Skulls 3 sets
Rope Pull down 3 sets
Total on Tris = 6 sets

Back and Biceps
Deadlifts 4 sets
Bent over Rows 3 sets
Wide grip chins or Wide grip pull down 3 sets
Total = 10 sets
This is where i get confused coz the above are compounds and work biceps as well??

DB curls 3 sets
Preacher curls 3 sets
Total = 6 sets

Legs and shoulders
Squates or leg press 4 sets
SLDL 3 sets
Leg Extensions 3 sets
Total = 10 sets

Military press 4 sets
seated DB press 3 sets
Front Lateral raises 3 sets
bent over flyes 3 sets
Total = 13 sets

How many you do depends upon your training set up (split, type of split, whole body etc), movement choices and your goals so I would help to have that info to!

back 15- 3 on each of 5 exercises, deads, pullovers, low rows, high rows and pull downs.... deads are on a seperate day from the rest

chest 6 sets- 3 flat bench and 3 inc db

triceps 3 sets of tricep dips

biceps 3 sets of db curls

thighs 3 sets of squats

hams3 sets of curls

calves 3 sets


shoulders 6, 3 sets of db presses, 3 sets of lat raises

my legs are my best body part so they get less work,

my back is ok but the top lacks thickness.

Back - 12 - 16
Chest - 16 - 20
Bi's - 12-15
Tri's - 12-15
Legs - 18 - 22
Calves 8 - 12
Shoulders - 16 - 20

All depends on what I'm doing!

Someone told me this rule,

bigger muscle groups - 12 sets max
smaller muscle groups - 8 sets max

I think it a very good guideline especially for beginners

CHEST - 8/9 sets
TRICEPS - 6 sets max
BICEPS - 6 sets
SHOULDERS - 6 sets max
LEGS - 12 sets
TRAPS - 3/4 sets
ABS - 6 sets
