it's not something i would recommend. bad habits and all that and: quote:
in your article you wrote like you can still have pizza just its better if you make your own with fat free cheese, wheat bread etc, but why use fat free cheese and make these changes? Wouldn't it be exactly the same to eat the regular pizza at dominos or pizza hut and then just lower fat intake of peanut butter or so later? Why use reduced fat cheese and then eat more fat later a sure fire way to an eating disorder from someone who has their own battles with food i find this a very strange recommendation

I'd say one big mac a day, whilst bulking, dependent on that's pretty much the only crap you eat, is no probs. Go at it, enjoy, and lets here back what happens. I personally enjoy a couple of double cheese burgers, a mc flurry, washed down with a diet coke ("cus I am watching my figure"). Thats 1000 tasty kcals for under 4 pound! Note; I would not have this every day!

I believe that once you met your EFA requierements that you need that your body can't produce (which wouldn't be all of my 100g fat per day) the rest of the fat can be made up from any fat source as long as it's not trans fats.

Eric - People chose peanut butter as they consider it a "good fat" source. Big macs may have alot of "bad fats" (trans/hydrogenated/damaged). In reality will you see any difference? No, but alot of these may give you health problems in the future. We're basically talking "health" rather than growth or physical appearence now, which to some really doesn't matter (such as the clubbing type who juice without knowledge, drink to excess and take other drugs). Fun and appearence are a priority for many, health isn't.

I understand and that is a good point. How about ice cream as the example instead of big macs because I don't believe there is any trans fats in ice cream. Can you have a scoop of ice cream every day and then lower peanut butter if your EFAs are still present? (I don't want these things very badily, I am more trying to understand nutrition and eating on a better level)

get in your EFAs get in your protein ample supply of fruit and veg if you are overweight/sedentary might be an idea to prioritise healthy options if you are relatively lean/active you can make up the carbs/fat how you like
