ah that could be reason lol with a smith machine, it enables you to move alter your stance easier and can help sometimes with squat, but that bad thing is though it does have some issues with it i.e. not natural plane

and also i dont have acces to a squat rack so gotta use a smith machine

Ah k fair enough. Yeah I do prefer free weights with everything I do as it feels more natural. I have a squat rack at home so thats all I need and I used it with benching as well.

155 kg on smith squat is sounds pretty high

If you dont have access to a rack you could so hack squats as an alternative

yes i would recommend hack squats, if you get the movement right it really hits the legs.
you could also do front squats if you can clean the bar up.

dips (unweighted) 10/ 10/ 10/ 10/ 10
wide grip chins: 8/ 7/ 8/ 7/ 6
abs: cable crunch 11 plates

cheers john_cappa and tristram will have to try instead of regualr squats.
i may be mistaken but cant using a smith machine cause damage to your back and knees more than a barbell squat?

todays workout:

Front squat: 45kgX10/ 47.5kgX10/ 50kgX10
Hack squat: 50kgX10/ 55kgX10
Dumbell chest press: 25kgX10/ 25kgX10/ 25kgX10/ 25kgX10/ 25kgX8
Dumbell row: 22.5kgX10/ 22.5kgX10/ 22.5kgX10/ 22.5kgX8/ 20kgX10
Abdominals: cable crunches 5sets 11 plates

when got back form gym, took dog out for hour and half walk

had MMA aswell wednesday and tuesday

going to increase the amount of pasta and oats in meal 2 and 3 and add a peice of fruit fruit to meal 1 or add an extra meal somewhere, just gotta decide

today didnt have time to prepare and cook food for my diet today so had to use me first diet that i was on

meal 1: 100g oats plus 60g myprotein impact whey protein, 5g creapure, 1 wellman tablet
meal 2: 6 oatcakes plus 1 large chicken press
meal 3: 6 oatcakes plus 1 cylcone bar
post training 500ml skimmed milk, 60g myprotein impact whey protein, 100g banana, 5g creapure
meal 5: 4 slices wholemeal bread plus 1 tin tuna
meal 6: as yet dont know as its my dads birthday, but prob a steak and salad

training today:

dumbell shoulder press: 15kgX10/ 17.5kgX10/ 20 kgX10/ 22.5kgX8/ 22.5kgX6
regular deadlift: (warmup set 60kgX20) 97.5kgX10/ 102.5kgX9/ 105kgX8/ 105kgX8/ 105kgX8
unweighted dips (need to start adding weight): 10/ 10/ 10/ 10/ 10
wide grip pulldowns: 13platesX10/ 14platesX10/ 15platesX10/ 16platesX10/ 17platesX10
abdominals: cable crunch 11 plates X 5 sets X 12 reps
