This is something i cant seem to find the answer to, so can someone make sure ive understood this before i actually store it to memory. If i wake up, i've slept for 8 hours and havent eaten since the previous night. I decide i won't eat today and skip every meal. If i now go and get on with my daily activitys, sedetry work (Desk work essentially, using my brain and playing poker on the computer) what process does my body go through to get energy and in what order(and what triggers it to go from one 'source' to another). Do we use undigested food thats in our stomachs, not yet digested first(such as if i eat a big lump of steak before sleeping). Then go onto muscle glycogen stores... Then when they run out, go onto fat stores? At what point, do we go onto eating away at muscle? Is it only if i were to jump on a bike during my day of starvation and do tough exercise(and if so, at what intensity). I appreciate this is different from person to person, but were all humans so a rough summary would be appreciated.
