Check my 1RM form! Deadlift vids! - 17 April 2008 21:19
Ok here's the videos I've just put in my journal. From what I see, nowhere near enough leg-drive and too much back. I made the 220kg look very difficult, it was a little smoother last week, but there you go.

Yeah just progression mate. I started a few weeks ago seeing how far I could take a it at the end of a working session.

Calories have been huge and I'd dropped all cardio for six weeks too, weight and strength piled on.

It all looked good to me mate.

Perhaps the genuine experts could point out a thing or two, but if I was as smooth as that on my 1RM attempts I'd be a happy 1RM.

Good pulling. 5 plates and the avatar.

Cheers mate, I'll try and have a read of that at the weekend.

My routine needs a bit of tweaking, I need to focus less on strength and bring up my lagging arms and chest, but I'm too scared to change something that ultimately works!

Very nice bottom

LOL girlfriend said same thing! Thats my mate Dave with a client in the skimpy grey top!

Nice vest

I have an array of them for nightclubbing in.

theres more int the tank

I tried for 230kg but it just wasn't there. I could probably have forced a dirty great back-breaking cheat-rep, but I lifted about half a cm and dropped it straight back!

Very nice lift there. I'm not an expert by any means as you can see by my deadlift vids in the training section but from reading "10....to deadlift" I was under the impression that the shoulders should not start off infront of the bar. Yours do slightly, but then again the author of the article said that the shoulders should be behind the bar to prevent the bar having to travle forwards before it could travle back/up. Yours travles straight up, no question about it. hmm, anyone want to help me out on this one. It was a good looking deadlift even though his shoulders started infront of the bar, would it of been even better if they hadn't?
