Yeah, I think there's gonna be a lot of people annoyed when the new model comes out... but only if there's improvements beyond 3G.
The 16gb ones are going for more sensible prices, odd really - I'm amazed I made such a profit this late on, all good 
TF - I ended up finding out that although I've got 100% positive feedback, the fact I don't have an average score of over 3.9 in my star ratings, means I was shown AFTER everyone else. This wouldn't be an issue, bar the fact I've sold so little that I've not had chance to bloody gain points in the star system!!
It was the 4th ebay person I was in contact with who finally helped, other were just telling me "it's all good"... 
I did however have fun calling the powerseller line 5 times, and just moaning my ass off about being treated like I wasn't a customer. It was the 5th person I spoke to who pointed me to the live chat help bit..!! That said, "Henry" wasn't much help anyway
send me a link to your store mate, be interesting to take a look.
i didn't know it was related to the star system...i heard it was favouring the very established sellers (i.e. those with 40,000 feedback), then i heard it was favouring those with more items, then i heard that no one really knew...so i decided to ignore it and focus on other stuff lol.

Don't have a store - just me..! Feedback of 23 - majority is stuff I've bought - but all positive.
The new "system" apparently makes about 5% of sellers see their listings drop down the initial search, and should target those who consistently don't perform well. Unfortunately, it also pisses on the little guy!!

how did you call the powerseller line then? lol
Edit: It also effects the bigger sellers too - EVERY powerseller I know is moaning about it. Weird patterns of sales - big WHAMS, then nothing...then WHAM...then nothing...etc. eBay have never got their tech side sorted...weird given the type of business they have.

Ah, I get you - well, I had a bit of a nosey on the internet to find a phone number for ebay - it was the only land based one!!
Did make me chuckle -
"Sir, you're tying up the line, I have Power sellers needing advice"
"So I don't matter then?"
"That isn't what I'm saying, but I'm afraid we don't have anyone you can speak to"
"You're speaking to me"
"Yes, but I'm not supposed to"
"Well find someone who is, there has to be someone there"
and so on and so forth, was quite a chuckle. They were blatantly lying about there being a cue - single ring to get through!!

It's a good service. You get really nice treatment once you become a powerseller cos you're paying ebay thousands a month. I know one eBay store who's eBay fees are around 30k *per month*. Even a small powerseller is probably doing 700 quid a month in fees.
Once you're up to Gold Status, you get a personal account manager too - someone to call up, in the UK, who's name you know...who you can yell at if anything goes wrong lol :)
