If you make it into a PAYG phone how does that affect the internet access and do you 'pay' for that on your payg

Think you can get like a Bolt on Package for this.

Yes , depending on what network you use - Going from memory (may not be right up to date

o2 do an "unlimited" (subject to fair use) add on for £7.50 per month

T-mobile offer access by the MB , but it is capped at £1 a day , this is great if you only use data (and this INCLUDES mail) occasionally , but a heavy user could run up a bill of around £30 a month !!

Orange offer an "evening and weekend" thing for around £5 a month , or they do a capped thing like T-mobile (you have to opt in though) They also offer some other bundles , but they are quite stingy IMO

Three is not relevant - if you use a Three sim in the iPhone it will get barred eventually

Not sure what Vodafone are offering , I think it may be unlimited for around £8 though

...similar bundles are available on Contract - Definately better to get a bundle SOONER rather that waiting to get a three figure phone bill through your door !!!

Its funny that carphonewarehouse make you sign an agreement but the agreement actually goes home with you. It is the worst procedure i have ever seen

Now this is interesting. I used to work in a phone shop, so essentially unlike all other phone contracts you dont set it up in the shop?? You just pay and they expect you to go away and set it up yourselve? Surely this is just massively open to abuse?

Nice one MM - but I'm pretty sure I won't be getting one - too many moths in the wallet at the minute. Got a short break and a tattoo to pay for pretty shortly, so nadda on the cash front..

Apple have made their money. They don't care at this point. O2 will have made a cut on their fone...

Excellent , glad it went straightforward for you ! Did you pay for the software or use one of the free DIY versions ?
