THe word data how u say it?

Kinda hard to put forward over the web but here goes-

I say 'Dayta'

My GF says its 'Datta' and apparently noone else says it the way i do!

Wat u think??

In britain, it's dayta. Some Americans also say dayta.

I say Dayta, I think it's the Americans that can't pronounce correctly.
