Draining Tuna - 18 April 2008 22:14
You guys have any tips on how to make Draining Tuna any more efficient?

I am currently using the open can and press lid while draining over sink method and it is a real pain when you have 4 or more cans to do this with.

LOL
it's like asking, how to a dry my balls... you just do it, it's not rocket surgery

A muscle that's weak in isolation will be weak in integration.

Lol, what a strange question!

But I guess you could open all cans at once and bung them in a sieve and leave them over the sink to drain...

Using a sieve would make more washing up. How long does it take to invert a can of tuna over the sink?

I do too find it hard to strain the tuna properly: I even cut myself once...

I realize it may seem ridiculous, but I try to make my meals for the week and when you are draining 20cans of tuna at a time it gets old real quick.

I figured surly some of you eat more tuna than me and had figured out a better way to do it.

Malika, that metal drainer looks promising…thanks

buy bigger tuna cans!
I just bought a load of 400g tuna cans. Then you won't need to drain as many.

buy a catering size can from Costco, then you'll only have to drain 1 tin.
though I'll take 20 times as long to drain

Open 1/2-3/4 of the can keeping the lid on and turn it upside down in the sink and let it drain out.
