Im starting this progress journal because i'm crap at keeping to a routine and this will keep me on track! I'm in my first year of university, 18 years old and a few pounds under 11 stone.

Im looking to put on some weight, build muscle mass and get in better shape for my summer holiday. I'm a member of my university's gym so in the coming weeks i am going to post my routine and diet. If anyone has any improvements or suggestions please let me know as I have a lot to learn.

Ive ordered a tub of BSN true mass and I am going food shopping tomorrow to stock up on healthy food and I have ordered a set of weights for my room for in between workouts.

If anyone has an input or advice it would be much appreciated.

hey mate best of luck with all this.

not trying to shoot you down or anything but just try and ease yourself into the whole bodybuilding etc. take your time and just fix one aspect i.e. diet, training. at a time your much more likely to stick at it if you do that. also you have alot of reading to do check out all the articles on this site their really helpful. anyway best of luck and stick at it!

Im at Brunel university currently studying Product Design. I went shopping today and brought lots of lean meats, fruit and salads. I also stocked on mid day snacks like nuts and plenty of milk for my milk shakes. I left out all of the **** that i normally buy (chocolate etc).

I have a lot of reading to do i know. I currently have the p90x training scheme which my friend lent me, i havent looked at it yet but it seems to get great results (although it might be a bit much for me). Im currently trying to find some gym exercises which i can do onthe machines i have at the gym as well as with the weights i have in my room.

Ive ordered a new set of weights for my room (the other ones are too light for me now) and the BSN true mass is in the mail. I wont start my routine till monday but ill get some "before" pictures up today or tomorrow with my exact weight.
