Hey im currently cutting and was wondering about basing my overall diet on the 50g rule. I've been told the body can only absorb 50g or f/c/p per meal is this correct and a good way to do things?

if so do i use it in every meal appart from pre workout where i cut out 50gs fat?

Read the timings post below if you want some opinion on how the body digests food.

I think the stomach has a feedback system, ie it holds food until your gut is ready for it, it then opens at the bottom and squirts a small amount of liquid into the intestine.

Once absorbed the body will use the nutrients as it needs them, un-used macros will get stored as fat.

Old urban myth - your body does have a limit to how much it can digest - but it can be changed over time and varies between people and its not actually be found
