I'm going to have about 1hr 30 mins 5 days a week set aside for cardio. I'm thinking: 20 Mins Jogging 20 Mins Cross Trainer or Similar 20 Mins Rowing 30 Mins Swimming or perhaps 20 mins swimming and 10 mins doing something else. Would this be adequate, or would it be better to split some other way? Sole aim is fat loss. This will be working with a 3 day weight split on the nights too. Cheers

i've also just read that swimming isnt exactly a good method of fat loss, and with that in mind, I may cut that down to 10 mins or so and have another 20 mins on something else?

Swimming at a comfortable pace burns a lot of calories, the difference between swimming and running at the same pace is very small.

Cheers can you run outside,if you can do some ss-cardio,and HIIT on sepperate days on the road, and do the same in the gym.

Whats ss cardio? Also, anyone got any further recommendations to what i originally posted, interested in as many theories as possible. Thanks

Hi mate "SS" is steady state cardio, usually the pace you want to be aiming for is when holding a conversation is possible but slightly labored.
