Hi guys def eating more than my body wants to take in, but I'm gaining about 1-2Ib a week ATM which is what I was after. Had a problem with my stomach a bit back and it's still a bit 'tender' so I'm living on wholemeal bread, weetabix and whey. Know I'm low on the essential fats, but had to drop the peanut butter and oily fish as giving me really bad heart burn - hope to be back in full swing in a few weeks or so. Diet is pretty much as follows: 07:00 2 XL boiled eggs on 2 slices burgen bread toast. 2 weetabix 1 Scoop whey (about 10g protein). 10:30 6 weetabix 2 Scoops whey 14:00 Chicken sandwich 2 Weetabix 1 Scoop whey 16:30 6 weetabix 2 Scoops whey 19:30 2 slices burgen bread toast with sliced beef in gravy. Handful mixed fruit and nuts. 1 apple 1 Scoops whey 22:00 1 large pot cottage cheese Few mixed nuts Large mug cocoa made with milk (aw - ain't I a sweetheart ). Like I say I know I should be eating more fats etc. but had the same problem when I was doing more of both - now just getting over a stomach prob and can't really do with anything too oily, and too much veg is just more bulk when my stomach is struggling as it is. Will start cutting in May when my food intake will be lower and more balanced, but this will be as important for my next bulk as it is for the remaining weeks of this. Your input is appreciated guys. TJ

what brand of whey Holland and Barrats is notorious for causing gas - just simply changing brands can often do the trick. Also boiled eggs are bad for somepeople - change the cooking method can help on that one. also if you have just had a stomach problem then that can cause you to get gas - depending on the problem, - food poisioning is fatal for good gut bacteria and the lining - so it takes a while for things to get back to normal

I have to avoid eating too many weetabix for this very reason. You should also take into account the amount of milk you are consuming with all those weetabix, ime the combination of too much of the two sends my gas toxic!

I have exactly the same problem, to the point where its been getting really embarrassing. I used to just laugh it off and not think much of it, but now i've realised I think it could be a a bit more of a serious problem. I don't want to give up my diet/supplements or my lifestyle just so I can stop giving off offensive gas. I tried the charcoal extract too but didn't seem to do much. Just think its the amount of bulk food that is going through my body ATM! My gf is really starting to get fed up with me now though and shes bought me some 'fart pants' off the internet. She saw them in a newspaper article and thought I needed them! They actually really do work! You can't smell a thing, i've been washing and wearing them for a few weeks now and the result is always the same-no smelly ones! Seriously they are great check them out! They are called Shreddies. Hope this helps. Cheers
