But what do you expect the the board owners to do?
Usually when someone posts a result in the title or thread, they're either simply not thinking, or they're doing it on purpose with malicious intent.
If it's that they're not thinking, they usually get flamed to high hell and as a result never do it again.
If they're doing it on purpose then they will not care about being banned or reprimanded in some way.

Some members whinge they can't talk politics and religion, imagine what they'd say about this. As I said, I do not think it's right but can't see it being a rule, it's like asking someone not to post a swear word, who are we to police that? I think member pressure on the culprit would be better here.

The majority of people logging on here today will have either seen the fight already, already know the result or not care. I think those of you who dont want to know the result are in the minority.

In fairness if you are trying to avoid a result for whatever reason it is best to avoid a forum where recent topics are discussed. This mornings thread may have annoyed you, but were you really suprised to see it there ?

How about whenever there is an important sporting event about to happen, someone starts a thread called "the official Calzaghe thread" for example and all comments go in there.

i think its a great idea to ban indivduals from posting sporting results, while we are at it we should stop people talking about anything tv related just incase one of the member hasnt got round to watching the latest eastenders for example.
