Hi there.....let me introduce myself my name is james, and im a 23 year old male ( DUH!) - weighing in at 15 stone. i was a very competitive swimmer from 13 years old to 17 years old, and in fact swam for my country. i stopped swimming due to a very slight development of gyno. left side only, looked more like a inflamed nipple. after stopping swimming, i hit the gym 3 times a week, doing some cardio, and some lifting. mainly upper body, big weight, small reps. i was 13 5, and very strong... anyway, my gyno got worse, both sides, and i stopped going to the gym......that was 3 years ago. my gyno got so bad, that it began affecting my personal life, i started to get deppressed, and comfort ate......hence the 15 stone !!!! So, ive already seen a plastic surgeon, and he agreed that it was fairly bad, and he would operate....either by lipo, or surgical intervention. NOW. here's the problem. I need to loose weight. my op will be in 2 months. ive tried most diets in the past....proper calorie controlled, 0 fat, 0 carbs...my diet at the moment is just about as healthy as it gets.....very balanced, wholesome foods, oats, rice, loads of fresh fruit, veg, lean meat, loads of fish.........my weight has been stable for 6 months......15st on the dot. never goes up, never goes down. SO, what can i do.......im quite active, being a lorry driver.....not your normal trunking though, im constantly moving, walking all day, lifting, pushing, washing......i come home after a 10 hour shift physicaly exhausted. any help or advice welcome...

then start training again mate. Youre gonna have to swallow your pride here and learn to get a thicker skin if you want to get to your goals. If you want them, train, eat and rest to suit. Dont worry about what other people think they dont have to live in your shoes nor look in the mirror every day. Learn to stop caring about what other meaningless people think and learn to care about what close friends/family and your own self image thinks

thats easier said than done buddy. its a psycological thing........until such a time as the gyno gets fixed, i can't see me getting back in a gym. i just need to shed some weight. dont care if i dont put on muscle at the moment, my arms are big enough, my legs are much bigger than average, very little fat... its just the gut and "tits"

you seeing a shrink for this phychological issue then? Have you been formally dianosed as having a mental issue with this? i see excuses here, sorry. If i had the same attitude of giving up and letting the way i look beat me two years ago then i wouldnt be where i am now You game or not?

Do you have tissue behind the nipple or is it soft and puffy (pseudo)?

You need to lose weight in 2 months, you need to do some form of training mate whether thats cardio or weights. You have a problem and here is a solution. To get operated on you have to lose weight, to lose weight youre gonna have to train and get a suitable diet plan done catch 22 if hes gonna lipo the area then thats fat, if hes gonna operate its tissue, has your surgeon said exactly what hes gonna do?

mamgram a week prior to operation.....then most likely tissue removal, with lipo to surrounding area, and areola reduction.
