I'll be at 140kg in about 6 weeks if I can get everything spot on.

Trouble is I will have to deload for a week or two before ramping up to more PBs and I have a holiday in June...I'm good for 150kg by about august though!

So, I'm in, but I'll lose lol.

Papa i don't have a spotter with me, I could ask a mate who works there. What about doing a couple fo sets on a smith machine and setting the protective bars up. It's something i never ever use though!

For those who are getting stuck at 140k, do you have a spotter with you? Try getting someone to spot you and get the bench going from chest height, IMO its much easier to get going well from there rather than than up higher because moving it away from the bench and lowering it down and zaps useful benching power which you would otherwise use on your reps.

I'd get someone to help you. You'll fcuk your shoulders up trying to go heavy on a smith machine as it doesn't have/allow a true plain of benching movement IMO

If I maxed out in my next session I could do 120kg for 5 reps. Maybe 122.5 If I had a good set!

Right i know no one can truly answer this but rough guide. How much do you reckon a single 150k lift equals to 6 reps?? What i mean is if i could bench 130k for 6 is this equal to 150k for one?? or so on.

1RM calculator

130 for 6 would be around the right number but peoples ability to rep out and do singles vary and so it's not completely accurate

i would say if you could do 130 for 5/6 you should get 150, assuming you have a fairly standard reps - 1 rep max ratio

I'm gonna aim for 115kg for 10 reps as this equats to 153kg.
