Depends how many there was TBH, without being there it's hard to tell... sat here now I don't think I would have felt angry enough to go at it regardless of the consequences.
Probably would have gave the ones on the back of the bus plenty of verbal and seen if they made the decision for me or not.
If they shut up then I wouldn't have done anything else, if they would have got physical I would have my excuse to get physical back.

Dont know the country thats from, But thats what happens now-a days.
Yes you did right thing of Telling them off but there too young ( were they liek 15-17) To give erm a whopping. Back 40yrs ago we didnt have this prob, as kids had respect if they stepped out of line they got a smack, Now they get a telling off!

At my age and size kept quiet obviously. Even if I was older, taller, stronger and abit of a hard nut I would of kept quiet, unless they were a group of younger teen chavs who would be scared ****less if a man approached them. I've seen group of boys attack a man for this type of thing before and lay into his gf..
Enough stories in the news of people just telling kids to be quiet and then being murdered..

including the four on the bus , two outside they were 6 of them in total. all in their late teens
and muscleman what would you have done then?

I would have tried to ignore them and thats not becuase im bothered with violence or whatever its just that i have been there and done that in the situation you was basically in and i ended up getting nicked for assault.

I would have grabbed one and beat the sh1te out of him, hit him hard enough with the first punch and I'd be amazed if his pals would have backed him up. If that makes me an "internet hardman" so be it!

That would probably have been what I`d have done when it got to that stage, in honesty I would have said something when they were having a go at the girl(although I can appreciate your Mrs`s influence here, mine would more than likely do the same) I just imagine my Daughters being in this situation and people doing feck all about it, that`s all the encouragement I need.

if i thought they were capable of giving me a kick in then id stay quiet, be very anbry but id stay quiet.
if i was confident that id come out on top then grab the one who said things about my wife and throw him around a bit, slap him etc make him feel like a small boy

BTW
In all honesty, I don't think I would have stuck up for the girl in front in the first place. I'm not sure, but I doubt I would have, unless the youths were physically assaulting her. I would have felt sorry for her, but probably not sorry enough to endanger my GF
Therefore, this story would have ended before it began in my case
