JoM - Is that 17" flexed? They look like they'd be more when flexed?

ORIGINAL: Keyboard Hero how is your diet and rest? how often are you varying your arm routine? i saw good gains using this routine: super set: db curl skull crushers 3 x 12 on each followed up by barbell curl cable push down 3 x 10 so 12 sets in all Did the above yesterday with maximum exhertion and as high an intensity as I could manage and it was awesome. Really felt it then and really feeling it today, I rarely get DOMS in my arms but i have today. Appreciate that Steve, I'll be doing this now for 8 weeks or so religiously and strictly monitoring the reps/weight/gains.

nowt beats an 'arm' day at the gym I done this yesterday, felt like my bi's & tri's were gonna explode. 3 sets of Precher curls to warm up, going heavier each time followed by 4 sets of seated incline db curls 4 sets of standing BB curls then.. rope pulldown (4 sets...warmup) 4 sets of closegrip bench press (very heavy) 4 x single arm extensions (each arm) 4x single arm pushdown (each arm) just to blast out some more, I threw a few sets of 'double bicep curls' on the cable machine

Best to date is two reps mate, but its improving nicely. Was a weak area of mine but this year I stopped training chest/shoulders together and seemed to do much better by it. With all big moves, I warm-up, then 12, 10, 8, 6 reps and finish with a best effort. I'll video it for you this week Rog

jumping in on page 3 without reading the whole lot. have you tried working them less? the arms are a small muscle group and do not warrant such loving attention and panic, if your able to press/pull a fair amount and seeing good gains elsewhere then the small links in the chain will have to follow in order for progress has all progression halted? if so, are we looking at overtraining/diet/rest issues? all i do know is hitting the arms harder for longer and more frequent is not the answer
