RE: painting the perfect picture - 21 April 2008 22:37
ok today was back

i see pre, during and post work out very vital.

Cornelius parkin, for those who may know him, recommended this to me a while back and when i have ran with it it has been good

30 min before workout 4 bcaa's, 30g pro, 30g dex, 5g mon

during- 30g pro, 30 dex and 5g mono

PWO- 50g pro, 60g dextrose 5g mono and another 4 bcaa's

ok on to tonight training

i went fora it of volume, i do like my volume but have not trained high volume in a while

3x 15, 12 , 9 on wide grip chins

14 reps at 60 kg, 10 at 70 kg and 7 at 80 kg rows

4 x 10 at 110kg deadlifts, my deadlifts are all back, i need t work on my drive from the hams....

3x6 close grip bench 90kg

3x10 body weight dips

bit of cable work to pre exhaust then some lat pull down behind the neck

done and dusted, spent around 1 hour, felt pretty taxed as ive became un fit, which is another reason for upping the volume

happy enough with the session

i cant do that, i'll just tell it to her like it is once i think of a way to break it to her nicely

i sway from side to side....

i want to compete natty and do the under 21's which gives me under a year....

the i think, n competing is not for me

i will add as much mass as i naturally can, then diet down, to around 6-8 weeks out and we will see how i feel

if i think yeah do a natty comp then i will, if not i will do a cycle, anabolic priming seems to be where the best gains are made

what about yourself?

Good luck beautiful stranger, I did some cardio this morning, and ate a steak sandwich after a chest/bi's session.

looking at naturally mate but moving away from the teens more to juniors now, teens would mean i compete next year which the more i think about it is too close, judging from your previous pics mate, you held your condition very well in the off season and id think you would do well in the u21s tbh, have you been to any natural shows to have a look at what sort of shape you would have to be in to win?

Tom

yes went to one last year.

and tbh there was a first timers class with 5 guys....

3 of them looked awful!

one was ok and the other by was very very good

on that stage, i would have came 3rd with ease, could have pushed for 2nd maybe

that's another thing that puts me off, dieting fr all that time, to show up and have maybe one other guy in ok condition.... i imagine it would be demoralizing

i suppose mate but its all experience at the end of the day, it depends on how you look at it, at least you will have stepped on stage in front of hundreds of people

true

if you look at anabolic jay current avatar, two of the first timers were in the same condition as that

if i ever did step on stage id rather not place but at least know i went up against guys that brought it all to the table oppose t getting a placing against a weak line up

suppose for the hell of dieting for however many weeks you would at least want it to be competitive

what exercises you planning on doing?

3 or 4 sets of bench for about 8-10 reps

3 sets of weighted dips

some decline work

some incline flys

i usually do 6-6-6 for bi's

that or EZ bar for 3x8 heavy

then db for high reps just to finish off

but i train ad hoc and just do what i fancy
