Would really depend on the ingredients, you would hope they would be nice enough as it's for babies... It is cheaper by a country mile to make your own though - baby food is just cooked and mushed fruit/veg, hardly rocket science and a complete rip off for the tiny amounts you get.

The seals on the lids of baby food were identified to be carcinogenic, however it was decided not to pull them from the shelves immediately, as there would of been too many babies getting malnourished 'cos their parents couldn't work out how to mash apples and carrots together

No idea on rusks mate - again, depends on ingredients. I doubt they are wholemeal, so would maybe time them around training if you want 'em.

lol - I should of added I do like the cow & gate apple and pear one... but do avoid buying it 'cos it's barely a mouthful

CL - no, not pre-digested, etc. It's just mushed up food so they don't have to chew. For adults, it offers bugger all energy, but some micros - nothing better than just eating an apple of so

It's not very nutrient-dense, despite what you may think

Baby food is so expensive for what it is. Make your own! It's only stewed fruit.

I think rusks have sugar in them don't they? I remember my sister was getting annoyed trying to find some for my nephew when he was a tot, that didn't contain loads of sugar.
