is there a preferred number of sessions you should do per week? i.e. not more than 4 in 7 days. im taking the week off weights and keeping cardio up, but with more off days there is more chances to do HIIT.

I currently do; Monday AM SS, PM HIIT Tuesday AM SS, PM Weights Wednesday AM SS, PM HIIT Thursday AM SS, PM HIIT Friday AM SS, PM Weights Saturday & Sunday AM SS

I just started doing HIIT very recently and I don't think I could do more than 2 or 3 a week at the moment. It's totally different from SS and if that's all you're used to doing you'll find it will drain you very quickly. If you do sports (rugby and football especially) you'll probably find it easy cos they involve a lot of jog - sprint - jog - sprint combinations but I'm no sportsman. I guess it's down to what your body is used to.
