ok well i was wondering if popcorn which you use in a popcorn maker is a good carb source as long as it is not flavoured. is it just as good as oats and is it a complex source?

Answers will be appreciated

not sure on popcorn, i find its quite a light carb and dosnt fill u up like oats do.

I wouldnt replace oats with popcorn, but u could have it as a snack from time to time

Do any supermarkets sell popping corn kernals? Thinking of making some as a low cal treat on a cut. I've been getting small packets of pop corn (salted) from tesco with only 49 cals per packet.

Anyone know how unflavoured popcorn rates on the GI index?

Oats(may differ to what you consume) - http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts-C00001-01c21U4.html
air popped corn - http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts-C00001-01c21OO.html

Looks fine, perhaps spray a mist of splenda+water on it for extra lower calorie flavour .
