both pretty average rappers to be honest with smalls possibly edging it skillswise.

Lenox Lewis wasn't the best boxer ever, but was still (possibly) the best at the time, and was still the champ

Tupac was simply an image that the record exec's picked up and used seeing the rise in rap,he was a middle class well off guy not from the ghetto at all

what makes you say that?

facts like Tupac Shakur grew up in Baltimore and was trained in the performing arts ,When Tupac was 12 years old, his mother enrolled him in an Ensemble. He played Travis in "A Raisin in The Sun" in his first acting role,At 15, Pac also attended Baltimore School for the Arts where he studied ballet and acting..

Biggie had an extremely supporting upper-middle-class upbringing, school teacher mom and went to private school, his mum was said to be outraged when he sang about being poor and not eating as a child

Tupac didn't have a criminal record before he became a rap star, then once the image was up and he was hanging with surge knight,he figured he was big time got done for rape and shooting a cop, trying to be a tough guy
During the recording of "Thug Luv" Tupac did his verse in about 10 minutes and then left because he had to go model for Versace.
Musically Tupac’s record collection included CDs by Kate Bush, Sarah McLachlan and Don McLean, and he once called his all-time favorite song? the soundtrack to Les Misérables

plenty of rumors that the two(tupac and biggie) were bisexual lovers actually but thats beside the point

His death was clearly a fix, a prob hit by crooked white cops ,but who may have set that up? maybe just coincidence, that surge was owed all his royalties and was a close friend Lawrence Longo, the deputy DA of L.A. County in fact 18-year-old Gina Longo. Longo, the only white performer signed to the label, is his daughter of Lawrence Longo, the deputy DA of L.A. County who, perhaps not so coincidentally, recommended a plea bargain for Knight in the assault case
Infact Russell Poole, the ex-LAPD detective resigned after being told not investigate further into who killed Biggie and Tupac.

He had some ok songs but people read to much into him,i hate it when 19yr old kids bang on about Tupac but dont know a thing, its all media hype

Tupacs early years of his life were a struggle, most of hes close family were in prison, hes mum faced alot of police charges, theres not alot that tells you about tupacs first years but as he says they were very poor and he ended up on food stamps, after applying time and time again,by the time he had got to 12 yrs old hes mum knew he had alot of talent and had actually got herself sorted more financially and put most of her money into tupacs life, which ended up being good investment.

As for biggie he also didnt have the best of upbringings,he lived on a rough estate filled with druggies drug dealers and violence etc....had a one room shack for a few years of his life, but biggie succeded because he would stand on the street with his friends and rap all day,so he got himself noticed by word of mouth and due to the fact that he was pretty special when it came to rapping.

Also tupac didnt have a criminal record before he started rapping, but he certainly had one before he started rolling with the likes of suge knight, and if you watch a a tupac documentry (not sure which one) you see he was beat on numerous occasions by police for things like j-walking,so like his comments said in which i posted earlier in this thread, when someone keeps hitting/beating you for nothing your gonna fight back and protect yourself (which is fair enough)

I think you should pop back a few pages and read the comments made by himself.
