Status: online 		You look very similar in build, physique and BF% as me. I was recently tested using a Body Stat bio-impedence and it came out at around 19%, so that's waht I think you are.

LM - do you actually trust those things?? Are there any studies proving the calibrations that they use, 'cos the cheap ones are invariably miles off...

Status: online 		Not sure at all of the reliability or validity of them. This one was one of the more expensive types and was connected to my wrists and ankles by electrodes.

Even when I was a PT and measuring people using calipers, I was often surprised at how low or high the % was when compared to the total skin fold thickness.

So really my 19% comment may be well over what Wiffers is, but it's possibly more accurate than me having a stab in the dark guess at BF.

So basically people here are guessing 12% - 16% with an average of 13.7%

Cool, so 13.5% - 14% would be a good guess. Is about what I thought.

but at 12 i would epxect more definition of either abs or veins and more leg definition but once again hair doesnt help
