We have a chap from our gym entering. He's been training a long time (about 20 years, I think) and is coming down nicely from around 19 stone (think he's a shade over 16 stone now). He's eligible to enter the novices but he's pitching head first into the Misters, I think because he feels he's been training too long to call himself a novice - and would rather someone with only a few years experience win that class. Best and most impressive of all - he's natural - 16 stone in condition, natural. Top man. Anyone else entering or going to watch?

He looks about 6-foot. Just needs to harden up a tad more (think it's 3 weeks from Sunday) but it's all there and nicely balanced.

Oh cool. Thought he might be in my Class (Class 2) A guy from another gym around here is doing Class 1. He's been in shape for the past couple of weeks. Be good to see the big boys battle it out. I can't wait. Made a load of improvements just wanna geton stage and show them off now. Yeah just over 3 weeks out. Pro Am should be good. Gary Lister is doing it I hear. Plus Serge Nubret will be there. Awesome.

Aha, didn't know you were doing class 2 mate - I'll be sure to video you properly and burn you a copy if you want one - proper 3-chip broadcast quality camera not these piddly Curry's things. Good luck, not that you'll need it, I'm sure. Didn't know Serge Nubret was going - be great to see him - I hear he's still in pretty good shape. Legend.

All of you Midlands guys who are doing this show, don't forget the EPF English Open the week after at Halesowen. You'll all be welcome, and its only another week on the diet and a stones throw away from Brierley Hill. Hope to see you there. Lee.

Hiya - Cookie Dough and I are hoping to get there too as it's fairly local to us! Hope to see some of you there - if you recognise either of us just give us a nudge (pics are now posted in both our journals for info) and we're both looking to compete for the first time this year too!!
