I understand that you can't really have too much protein in one meal because it will just take longer to digest, but can you have too many carbs in 1 meal? If I have 6 meals a day and 3 of them have 200g of carbs each, or if I have 100g in each meal would it be any different? The only reason I think it might be is because if you eat too many carbs in one sitting once your glycogen is full doesn't the rest store as fat? In a deficit this wouldn't matter because calories in vs calories out but in a surplus does it make a difference?

If you eat too much carbs at time X, you gain fat. However, this means that at time Y, you eat too little carbs so you burn fat. It all averages out.
