We use a filter jug but I've drunk water from the tap before and it tastes fine to me

If I was to go to Greece or somewhere then I'd stick to bottled water, but here in the UK it should be fine

What if you live in a crappy old house with nasty pipes made from goodness knows water - lead, plastic etc; would drinking bottled water be adviseable in such an instance?

I remeber once I got badly ill from tap water due to a crypto spiridium outbreak, since then I've bought a lot more bottled water.
