Nigepoo, looking to sort out my sleeping pattern and you recommend 5000ui in capsule form a day. Could you tell me the best place to get this from mate. Also are there any disadvantages of getting your vitamin d3 from capsule rather than sunight? thanks (sorry about it being in the diet section, not sure if nige goes on any other sections)

Top guy. All the sites you linked seem to be from the US? Is there not any UK companies as shipping is usually loads.

The only UK source of decent strength D3 that I know of is H & B and 5,000iu/day will cost you 35p/day, whereas BioTech will cost you ~4.5p/day including p&p if you buy 2 pots of 250 caps.

Bought some D3 on your recommendation as I receive no sunlight at all. Hopefully this sorts out some of the sleep issues. http://www.bio-tech-pharm.com/detail.aspx?product_id=18&cat_id=2&subcat_id=0 bought 2 of these so that's 500 caps at one a day so I'm sorted for the next year and a half. Just a couple of questions, thanks for your time. I don't need to take this if I recieve 15 mins of sunlight, correct? I only need to take 1 5,000ui cap a day? What time shall I take it and does it matter in conjunction with the GABA and melatonin I take? Any ideas how much 15 mins of sunlights equates on one of those 'blue light' machines? Was thinking about purchasing one of them light boxes, do you think theyre worthwhile? Anything else I should know/what you found has helped with your sleep (food/supplements/anything)? Gotta learn from the best, cheers Nige.

Just a couple of questions, thanks for your time. I don't need to take this if I recieve 15 mins of sunlight, correct? Correct, as long as the sun is high enough in the sky (your shadow should be shorter than your height.) I only need to take 1 5,000ui cap a day? Correct. What time shall I take it and does it matter in conjunction with the GABA and melatonin I take? Any time, preferably with food. It won't clash with GABA or melatonin. Any ideas how much 15 mins of sunlights equates on one of those 'blue light' machines? Was thinking about purchasing one of them light boxes, do you think theyre worthwhile? I don't know what a 'blue light' machine is. Only a UVB+IR sunlamp produces enough Vitamin D in your skin. Light boxes don't. Anything else I should know/what you found has helped with your sleep (food/supplements/anything)? Nope. Gotta learn from the best, cheers Nige.
