What do you prefer having, and do you think having no abs makes a difference to how people perceive you e.g. walking around in the summer with your top off.

The majority of girls around university/college age would go for the guy with abs and tanned body i think. Some people would percieve these people to be posers though too I like having low body fat because i feel quicker, more energetic and better about myself

no abs. I feel just a bit too sexy when I've got abs.

I've never had abs, so I wouldn't mind experiencing what it's like, but tbh, getting abs are really not towards my goals, so probably wont happen for many years

I got proper abs for the first time last summer, and as good as they were, second I tried to add a few cals to add some lean mass they dissapeared quicker than a rat up a drainpipe. Therefore if I totally strip the fat off, I'll be sitting at the same weight for the duration of having them..they're a bit overrated imo but I'd feel self conscious taking my top off without them.

I know people who have never really trained much at all yet have cracking abs, then people who have trained for years and are massive but do not have abs. Would i rather be skinny with abs who could be someone who is just naturally skinny, or massive without as somone who everyone knows trains for size, the answer is always without imo (not fat though)

I;ve had abs for a while. Right now my stomach is pretty much always poking out as if i had some belly fat but theres not really any fat there and its solid, must just be all the food stretching it out.

Abs are cool, if you are muscular all over They actually look a bit weird if you're just skinny with abs though. Like there's something wrong with your midsection

A gentleman does not walk about with his top off. That is the action of a cad.

would you go topless on a hot day? I do on holiday but not over here. The only people who ever saw my abbs when I had them were my wife and my training partner when I got changed at the gym. In all honesty I'd feel like a right twat walking to the local shop with my shirt off.

fair enough, my only motivation to get abs would be the thought of showing them off, but like you say and pete says you look like a jerk if you do in summary I am justified in eating take-aways
