imo without overtraining

Small muscle groups (biceps, triceps, traps, deltoids)- 8 sets max

Large muscle groups (back, chest, legs)- 12 sets max

Abs around 6-8 sets a week should do nicely

imo without overtraining

As said, many variables, but....

I aim for 3-5 sets per exercise, using 2 exercises per bodypart.
