When I see someone wearing a vest and they are big/ripped then I think thats dedication for you, so what if they are posing? If they are happy and have put many years hard work into attaining a good physique then so what if they wanna show it off? I think of a guy driving a Ferrari or Bentley convertible to be a show off....still don't mean that I wouldn't do it if I had the money!

If someone thinks I am cnut for wearing a vest top when its hot, then thats their problem not mine...I really couldn't care less.

WHO GIVES A FLYING **** IF PEOPLE THINK YOU'RE SHOWING OFF?!

I look half decent in one, therefore I'll wear the pissing thing.

what's wrong with showing off, if you're hench/buff/tonk?
it's not any different from women showing off their lovely lady lumps.
even if some women apparently look down on "showoffs", they're secretly thinking "hmmmm "
and who cares what guys think?

Ditto. Except the look decent part, in fact I think I'll just walk about sans top for the whole summer to prove a point (skinny people have the right to a tan too).

Yeah wear vests in the summer and on holiday etc but not without factor 25 on though as I burn like a crisp!

I always found it funny that in the summer you see pot bellied men wearing their wife-beater white vests and that would be consdiered acceptable as "well it's hot" but if a bber wears one then he's a poser????

It really depends on how you are built.

If your small, despite having low bf and appearing muscular, then you will most likely look like a chav.

If you are big and muscular, then a smart vest on a hot day is fine IMO. However, it does attarct alot of negative attention form guys.

If your big enough, you'll be fine, as most wont start anything though... ;)

It does just boil down to jeleousy.

People make these snide comments because they wish they had your body, but because they dont, they want other people who have got what they want to feel bad and cover themselves up by shouting "poser" etc. Its like the common saying "if I cant have it then I dont want you to".
