People who are actually "lactose intolerant" are rare like you say. These people can't take even small amounts of lactose.

What i'm getting at is most people, not just those who are "lactose intolerant" can't handle large amounts of lactose, and this normally manifests in farting and diarhoea.

i had the same problem! Was takin 80g met rx whey ED and it was constant...i changed brand to optimum nutrition and it stopped. Then i started the n2o n booom, they were back... Taking large doses of supplements can and will have small side effects
