Somebody called Lucy in the Press Office contacted me on Monday. She came back to me on Wednesday informing that the Regional Business Manager had been contacted to tackle the matter with the General Manager at Wolverhampton.

The G.M. called me on Wednesday evening to say that I can return to training at the club. I'm still not happy with this fellow and the way he addressed me both last week and on the phone earlier this week. However, I'm willing to forgive and forget as all I want to do is get myself back in shape after my herniated disk problem.

One other issue that was raised with the G.M. was regarding the complementary membership I won at the New You Awards. When this eventually began February '07, I raised the point with one of the managers at my home club (Telford) that I had received two prizes, one stating 6 months as a finalist and the other 12 months as a winner making 18 months. Therefore, my complimentary membership shoud expire at the end of August 2008.

The manager contacted head office at the time I bought it to her attention and it was confirmed as 18 months and a note recorded on the computer system against my membership at Telford. I am now being told otherwise by the G.M. at Wolverhampton. What's going on here? I told the Health & Fitness Manager at Telford about this and he said, "It sounds like the G.M. at Wolves is trying to get one back for having his wrists slapped."

Glad u got it sorted, it is bst to forgive and forget, however hard that is. As for the 18 months - they should honour the prize you won!
